The Bonebrake family papers include meeting minutes and correspondence documenting Marie Bonebrake's involvement in the American Association of University Women (AAUW), Manhattan Branch, while she was attending Kansas State University. The collection also contains Bonebrake family correspondence from as early as the 1920s, reflecting Marie's interest in genealogy, as well as school materials relating to clothing and textile courses at Kansas State. Included are farm account records from Case Bonebrake and Joe Rizek, undated family photographs, and probate records and related correspondence regarding the Frank W. Rost estate, particularly involving Rosa Rizek. The records from Parker Isaiah Bonebrake document his service in the Civil War, including battles along the Missouri-Kansas boarder and into Missouri, and his involvement with the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway.
